The Dunmore East to Ballymacaw Cliff Walk is a gorgeous 5k coastal walk, with views over Hook Head lighthouse. It is suitable for most ages and levels of fitness, although there are some steep steps.
The Beaches Dunmore East has at least six sheltered and beautiful coves within the village for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding and snorkelling. The two most popular sandy beaches are Councillors and Lawlors strand which are both right in the village itself.
The Dunmore East Woods is 42 acres of beautiful woodland to explore through a number of trails where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the village.
Dunmore Adventure Centre is a unique experience that caters to children, teenagers, and adults. Featuring the Wibit Wipeout Aquapark, a water-based obstacle course. Also on offer are kayaking, climbing walls, archery, Caving, Powerboat, and Sailing courses.
